ERG Hygrade manufactured a series of corrosion-resistant GRP scrubber vessels and associated ductwork for use within an animal by-products rendering facility operated by Prosper De Mulder Ltd (PDM), part of the SARIA Group.
The equipment was fabricated for installation within a two-stage odour treatment process, handling exhaust air streams generated during Category 3 animal by-products processing at one of PDM’s major UK sites.
The GRP vessels were fabricated in accordance with British Standard BS 4994 (now superseded by BS EN 13121), with laminate construction and materials selected to suit the corrosive operating environment.

Flanged nozzles, access hatches, and inspection ports
Structural supports and mounting interfaces
Workshop assembly and factory acceptance checks prior to delivery
The equipment was supplied fully fabricated and prepared for integration into the client’s odour treatment process.
