ERG Hygrade designs and fabricates tower internals and droplet eliminators for use in wet scrubbers, packed towers and spray towers, using corrosion-resistant GRP and high-performance thermoplastics.

All components are fabricated to suit the vessel geometry, operating conditions and chemical exposure of each installation, ensuring reliable installation, consistent operation and long service life.

Tower Internals for Efficient Gas–Liquid Mass Transfer

ERG Hygrade supplies a complete suite of scrubber tower internals, including packing support plates, liquid distributors, redistributors and bed limiters, manufactured to promote uniform gas and liquid distribution throughout the column.

 

Droplet Eliminators for Mist and Aerosol Removal

ERG Hygrade droplet eliminators are designed to remove entrained droplets and aerosols from gas streams exiting wet scrubbers and spray towers, protecting downstream equipment and discharge ductwork.

Available in mesh pad, chevron (profiled blade) and custom cassette formats, our droplet eliminators can be configured for horizontal or vertical gas flow, with designs tailored to meet site-specific flow rates, allowable pressure drop and space constraints.

Units can be supplied as:

  • Drop-in cassette systems for retrofit applications

  • Fully housed and flanged assemblies for new vessels

  • Cut-to-length blade packs for integration into client-supplied housings
